Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BodyVisionIA is a form-correction assistant that uses the camera to analyze exercises you already chose and stores your progress on the account (repetitions, form score, XP and streak). Privacy questions: contact@bodyvisionai.com.

2. Data we collect

Account: email, username, name, password (hash), profile photo (optional).
Workout: exercises done, reps by zone (green/yellow/red), duration, XP, goals and badges.
Camera and pose: used only during the workout to guide your form. Body points (landmarks) and angles may be biometric or health-related data (LGPD, Art. 5, II). Processing happens primarily on your device; we store the aggregated set result (reps, zones, score), not the video of the session. In Replay mode, temporary local clips are only for that set’s feedback and are not sent to the server.
Payment: plan, subscription status and Stripe identifiers (the card stays only at Stripe).
Technical: access logs, push token (if allowed), approximate IP.

3. Purposes

Provide form correction, gamification and history.
Process subscriptions and the 7-day trial (via Stripe).
Send transactional email (trial ending, charge receipt, payment failure).
Improve the product in aggregate and anonymous form.
Meet legal obligations.

4. Legal basis (LGPD)

Contract performance (use of the app), consent (push, future optional email), legitimate interest (security and improvement) and legal obligation (tax/accounting via Stripe). Pose data is handled with minimization and a specific purpose (session feedback), under the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (Law 12,965/2014).

5. Sharing

Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
Expo / FCM / APNs — push notifications, if enabled.
Email provider (Resend) — transactional sending.
Hosting (AWS) — API and database.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention

We keep data while your account is active. After deletion we remove or anonymize it immediately (workout, profile, preferences), except where the law requires keeping records (for example anonymized payment records).

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, portability or withdrawal of consent. Account deletion is available in Settings (web and app) and in the public instructions at /account-deletion. You can also write to contact@bodyvisionai.com or file a complaint with the ANPD.

8. Security

Hashed passwords, HTTPS in production, JWT tokens and restricted database access. No system is 100% secure — tell us if you suspect an incident.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage as described in the Cookie Policy. You can accept, reject or customize non-essential categories at any time.

United States

Medical disclaimer (FDA). BodyVisionIA is a general wellness product. It is not a software as a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or orthopedic condition. Posture feedback does not replace professional medical or athletic advice.
Auto-renewal and cancellation (California CARL / AB 2863). Subscriptions, including free-to-paid conversions, renew at the end of the billing cycle unless you cancel. You can cancel online in profile settings by a path as easy as sign-up. Deleting the account in the app does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
Health data (FTC). Camera video stays on the device. We do not sell workout data. If health information is disclosed without authorization, we notify you and the FTC within 60 days.
