Terms of Use
Rules for using BodyVision safely — including how we handle the technology that corrects your form with the camera.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. The service
BodyVisionIA is a form-correction assistant: it analyzes exercises you already chose (or predefined plans in the app) and gives camera feedback (green, yellow and red zones), a catalog, gamification and workout sync.
Under Law 9,696/1998, prescribing, periodizing and assessing a workout are activities of a Physical Education professional (CREF). BodyVision does not prescribe sets, loads, weekly frequency or progression — ABC/ABCDE plans on Pro are predefined templates; the app does not create or change workouts in real time based on your individual health.
Automated feedback does not replace a medical, physiotherapy or Physical Education assessment. Pose data captured by the camera is handled under the Privacy Policy (LGPD).
2.1. Nature of the service
To avoid doubt about what BodyVisionIA is — and what it is not — the statements below apply together with section 2 and the Privacy Policy.
- It is not a health service or a medical device. The app does not diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor clinical conditions. Form feedback is automated guidance on execution technique, not a medical or physiotherapy assessment.
- It does not replace a Physical Education professional (CREF). Under Law 9,696/1998, prescribing, periodizing and assessing a workout belong to a licensed professional. ABC/ABCDE plans are predefined templates set by your choices in the app — BodyVision does not create or change workouts in real time based on your individual health.
- Automated feedback has limits. Camera pose detection can fail because of light, framing, clothing or algorithm limits. Green, yellow and red zones show fit to the modeled technique — they do not guarantee biomechanical safety in every case.
- You choose the exercise and own the execution. Sets, suggested reps, load, volume, rest and the decision to continue or stop are your responsibility. The assistant corrects the form of the movement you already selected.
- Use at your own risk. Physical exercise — strength or dance — carries an inherent risk of injury. By using BodyVision you state that you are fit to exercise or have clearance from a licensed professional. Stop immediately if you feel strong pain, dizziness or illness.
- See professionals when needed. With an injury, persistent pain, pregnancy, a cardiovascular condition, post-surgery or any health limitation, seek a doctor, physiotherapist or Physical Education professional before and while using the app.
2.2. External sync (YouTube and dance mode)
In dance mode, BodyVision maps rhythm and checks movement against choreographies and references created by BodyVision. Music playback does not happen inside the app.
- The app does not stream, host, distribute or sell third-party audio or video files.
- Music and video play outside the app, on YouTube (or another player you choose). BodyVision only aligns movement checks to that playback.
- You are responsible for internet access, YouTube access and for following that platform’s rules.
- Ads, interruptions, regional blocks, Content ID, an unavailable video or a YouTube policy change are not a BodyVision failure and can affect sync.
3. Feedback limits
- The assistant corrects execution technique — it does not diagnose, treat or prevent health conditions.
- It does not replace guidance from a doctor, physiotherapist or Physical Education professional.
- With pain, injury or a health condition: stop the exercise and see a licensed professional before continuing.
- Camera processing happens primarily on your device; we do not store the session video — only aggregated set results (reps, zones, score), except the temporary local Replay mode described in the app.
General limit: this feedback is automated and does not replace an assessment by licensed professionals. Train with care.
4. Account
- You must be 18 or have a legal guardian’s consent.
- Keep your password secret.
- Username and email must be real and unique.
5. Plans and trial
- Paid Pro plan with 7 free days after the card is saved in Stripe.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the charge happens automatically at the chosen plan price.
- Prices in BRL; taxes under applicable law.
- Cancel via Manage subscription or the Stripe portal.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Bypass paid plans or enter restricted areas without permission.
- Send spam or illegal content, or use the service in a way that overloads our infrastructure.
- Share credentials or use someone else’s account without authorization.
7. Form correction — protected use
BodyVisionIA works as a form-correction assistant for the exercise you selected — not as a workout prescription or clinical follow-up. The technology below is protected by intellectual property.
We built a method to follow your movements with the camera, guide each rep and record your progress. That set — screens, workout rules, catalog and correction logic — belongs to BodyVisionIA.
Without prior written permission, you may not:
- Copy or recreate how the app works, even “just to study” or “for personal use”.
- Use bots, automated programs, scraping tools or AI assistants to map, download or infer how the product works inside.
- Build tutorials, databases, models or competing products from what you see, record or infer in BodyVision.
- Publish pieces of the code, screens or service behavior in a way that lets others reproduce our technology.
Training normally, saving your data and sharing personal results (such as streak or badges) stays allowed. This section protects BodyVision’s innovation — not your legitimate use of the app.
8. Intellectual property
The brand, software, exercise catalog and the form-correction method in section 7 belong to BodyVisionIA. Your workout data stays yours; you grant us a limited license to run the service (save history, calculate XP, sync across devices).
In dance mode, the steps, routines, movement references and rhythm mapping (BPM) in the app belong to BodyVision. The subscription grants access to that validation data — not the right to copy, redistribute or exploit it commercially outside the service.
Track names, artists and third-party brands shown in the catalog belong to their owners and appear only to identify the external content to sync. That mention does not transfer a license over the musical work or third-party brands.
9. No third-party affiliation
BodyVisionIA is an independent training and dance-fitness platform. There is no affiliation, sponsorship, partnership, endorsement or commercial tie with artists, labels, video platforms (including YouTube) or third-party fitness brands whose names appear for information in the catalog.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for injuries from physical exercise — train with care and see Physical Education professionals, physiotherapists or doctors when needed. Automated feedback does not replace an in-person assessment by licensed professionals. You use BodyVision at your own risk, as in section 2.1.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be sent by email or shown in the app. When the Terms version changes, the app will ask for a new acceptance before unlocking training. Continued use after they take effect means acceptance.
12. Venue
Venue of the consumer’s home district, under the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code, unless the law says otherwise.
Australia
- Australian Consumer Law (section 64). Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that the digital service is provided with due care and skill. A disclaimer cannot remove those guarantees or hide how to reach support.
- Recreational risk. To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for physical injury that comes directly from the sport itself. That exclusion does not cover a failure of the software.
- Sensitive information. Posture and workout history are treated as sensitive health information under the Privacy Act 1988. We do not store the raw camera video. The maths runs on your device.
